Because of the high demand and very high prices for second hand Siltech some unreliable factories started producing lookalikes with full printing of our name and type. This is totally illegal. In general do not buy from non-dealers unless it is a sincere customer upgrading or changing his or her system. imitation cables made in China, fully stamped with the Siltech logo and letter type. Compared to the original Siltech, the differences are big. For an inexperienced buyer however it is not so obvious. Every seller will normally have a real name, address, telephone number, original box or receipt or other means to demonstrate the origin of the product. So do not buy without a box or receipt (one of these at least). When in doubt, ask a retailer, distributor or email us direct (please include some images of the cable in question). Siltech's IQ SeriesThis new IQ Series is meant for all those people, professional or not who would like to assemble his or her own plugs. The IQ is based on the construction of the old G3-Series but produced with G5-silver/gold and higher quality isolation material. There are 4 basic models; two less expensive types, produced with silver-plated OFC-copper (LS-38IQ and LS-50IQ). Two more expensive types are made of pure G5 silver-gold.
