Classic Legend MkII 380i Interconnect Cable

The Classic Legend MkII 380i Interconnect builds on the foundation of the 280 Series and takes Siltech’s proprietary G9 silver-gold conductor technology to the next performance level within the Classic Legend MkII range.

At its core is Siltech’s pure silver-gold alloy G9. This proprietary metallurgy combines silver with gold to address microscopic imperfections within the conductor material and forms the foundation of the Classic Legend family.

The 380i is available in dedicated RCA and XLR configurations. The RCA version uses two cores, while the balanced XLR version uses three, allowing the cable architecture to accommodate the requirements of single-ended and balanced analogue signal transmission.

Beyond its G9 signal conductors, the 380i incorporates a monocrystal copper ground and Siltech Special Multicell construction. Siltech Resonance Damping and Teflon are used within the insulation system, while Special Wide-range Shielding provides protection around the signal path.

This combination represents a substantial architectural progression beyond the 280i, which uses a simpler twisted-pair construction with SPC shielding. The 380i introduces a more advanced combination of construction, grounding, resonance control and shielding technologies.

Positioned above the 280i, the Classic Legend MkII 380i therefore represents the next step for systems requiring a more sophisticated analogue interconnect architecture while retaining Siltech’s G9 silver-gold metallurgy.

Available in RCA and XLR configurations, the 380i is designed for analogue connections between source components, preamplifiers and amplifiers.
