Where engineering meets composition
Edwin van der Kley Rynveld is not only the founder, CEO and chief engineer behind Siltech. He is also a composer, bringing the technical and creative sides of music together in a uniquely personal way.
His work with music goes beyond designing technology for its reproduction. Edwin composes his own orchestral pieces and works with multiple orchestras to bring these compositions to life, connecting the creative process directly with the engineering principles that have shaped Siltech.
Composition offers another perspective on the same fundamentals that drive our engineering: timing, dynamics, tonal balance, structure and emotion. Understanding how these elements interact within music itself provides a deeper connection to what audio technology ultimately needs to preserve.

Siltech’s collaboration with Armada Music brings our engineering into one of the world’s most recognized environments for electronic music.
At Armada Music Studios, Siltech supports the recording environment with dedicated cable solutions developed to preserve the integrity of the musical signal from its earliest stages. Microphones are wired using custom Siltech Classic Legend cables, bringing our G9 silver-gold conductor technology into the professional recording chain.
The collaboration connects two different sides of the musical experience: the creative process in the studio and the engineering required to preserve what artists and producers create.

An orchestra represents music in one of its most dynamic and complex forms. Dozens of individual instruments, enormous dynamic contrasts and the acoustics of the performance space must come together as one musical experience.
Siltech supports orchestral projects through sponsorship, recording support, cable solutions and collaborations with musicians, engineers and composers. In several projects, Siltech cables have formed part of the recording chain itself, helping capture the performance before it reaches the listener.
Our orchestral involvement includes the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Athens Symphony Orchestra.
Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra
Siltech supports the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra through sponsorship and musical collaboration, bringing together a shared dedication to live music and its faithful reproduction.
Recordings have been made with the orchestra using Siltech technology as part of the recording process, including music composed by Siltech founder, CEO and engineer Edwin van der Kley Rynveld.

Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
Siltech’s connection with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra brings together composition, orchestral performance, recording and reproduction within one musical journey.
Music composed by Siltech founder, CEO and engineer Edwin van der Kley Rynveld has been performed and recorded with the orchestra, connecting his work as a composer directly with Siltech’s engineering background.
At the UK Hi-Fi Show Live at Royal Ascot, this connection extended from live orchestral performance and recording to playback through the Siltech Symphony loudspeaker system.
Athens Symphony Orchestra
Siltech’s involvement with the Athens Symphony Orchestra continues our connection with orchestral music, bringing musical performance and audio engineering together.

A Musical Celebration
A Musical Celebration brings together 19 performances spanning classical music, jazz, percussion, vocal music and other musical traditions. All tracks were recorded using Siltech and Crystal Cable high-end and microphone cables, with the recordings made by Fritz de With of STS Digital.
Among the performances are several recordings by pianist Gabi Rynveld, including a special session on a Steinway D at Concertgebouw De Vereeniging in Nijmegen. The album reflects Siltech’s involvement at the very beginning of the musical signal chain, where performance and recording come together and every musical detail is first captured.
Love by the Sea
Piano Concerto No. 1, “Love by the Sea”, composed by Edwin Rynveld and performed by pianist Gabi Rynveld with the Athens State Orchestra under conductor Andreas Tselikas. Recorded using Siltech and Crystal Cable technologies, the project brings together composition, performance and recording in a musical production closely connected to Siltech.

Created to celebrate 20 years of Crystal Cable, Infinite Musical Journey brings together a hand-picked collection of outstanding performances and recordings across classical, jazz and modern music.
