The Classic Legend MkII 880 Phono Cable represents the highest level of dedicated phono cabling within the Classic Legend MkII range.
Designed for the exceptionally delicate signal between turntable and phono stage, its two-core architecture combines pure G9 silver-gold conductors with a Twisted Coax Pair construction, Kapton, PEEK and Teflon insulation and SPC shielding. Together, these technologies create a carefully controlled environment around the low-level phono signal.
As the top phono cable within Classic Legend MkII, the 880 Phono provides a dedicated Siltech solution for high-performance analogue playback systems.

The Classic Legend MkII 880 Phono Cable represents the highest level of dedicated phono cabling within the Classic Legend MkII range, developed for the sensitive connection between turntable and phono stage.
A phono cartridge generates an exceptionally low-level electrical signal, making the cable between the turntable and phono stage particularly important. The 880 Phono uses a dedicated architecture designed around the requirements of this delicate analogue signal path.
At its core are two conductors made from Siltech’s proprietary pure silver-gold alloy G9. Siltech’s silver-gold metallurgy combines silver with gold to address microscopic imperfections within the conductor material and forms the conductor foundation of the Classic Legend MkII family.
The two G9 silver-gold cores use a Twisted Coax Pair construction. This dedicated geometry is combined with Kapton, PEEK and Teflon insulation, creating a carefully controlled electrical environment around the conductors.
Because of the extremely low signal levels involved in vinyl playback, protection from unwanted electrical influence is particularly important. SPC shielding provides dedicated protection around the signal path and forms an integral part of the 880 Phono architecture.
Together, G9 silver-gold metallurgy, Twisted Coax Pair construction, Kapton, PEEK and Teflon insulation and SPC shielding form a purpose-built architecture for high-performance phono signal transmission.
