The Classic Legend MkII Headphone Cable brings Siltech’s proprietary G9 silver-gold conductor technology into a dedicated design for high-performance personal audio.
At its core is an architecture of four main G9 silver-gold conductors, with each conductor constructed from 22 individual strands. This configuration brings the signature metallurgy of the Classic Legend MkII family directly to the signal path between headphone amplifier and headphones.
Siltech’s G9 silver-gold technology combines silver with gold to address microscopic imperfections within the conductor material. This proprietary metallurgy forms the conductor foundation of the Classic Legend MkII range and is designed to provide a highly consistent signal path.
The conductor system is combined with flexible TPU insulation and carbon-infused sleeving. A headphone cable requires a different mechanical approach from conventional audio cables, as electrical performance must be balanced with the flexibility and movement required during personal listening.
The flexible TPU insulation supports this purpose-built architecture, while the carbon-infused sleeving creates a carefully controlled environment around the conductor system.
