Classic Legend MkII 380D Digital Cable

The Classic Legend MkII 380D Digital Cable applies Siltech’s proprietary G9 silver-gold conductor technology to the transmission of digital audio signals. As part of the versatile 380 Series, it provides a dedicated digital connection within the Classic Legend MkII cable family.

At its core are two conductors made from Siltech’s pure silver-gold alloy G9. Siltech’s silver-gold metallurgy is developed to address microscopic imperfections within the silver conductor material, helping create a highly consistent signal path with excellent conductivity.

The two G9 silver-gold cores are arranged in a twisted-pair construction and combined with Teflon insulation. This architecture provides a carefully controlled electrical environment around the conductors, supporting the accurate transmission of digital audio information between connected components.

Signal protection is further developed through a combination of SPC shielding and carbon-infused shielding. These two shielding technologies help protect the digital signal path from unwanted electrical influence and contribute to the controlled electrical environment of the Classic Legend MkII generation.

Digital audio transmission places particular importance on maintaining signal integrity and accurate timing. The 380D therefore combines Siltech’s conductor metallurgy, cable geometry, insulation and shielding technologies in a purpose-built architecture for digital audio applications.
