Classic Legend MkII 680D Digital Cable

The Classic Legend MkII 680 Digital Cable is engineered for high-performance digital audio connections, where maintaining signal integrity and accurate timing is essential for reliable transmission between compatible components.

At its core are two conductors made from Siltech’s proprietary pure silver-gold alloy G9. Siltech combines silver with gold to address microscopic imperfections within the conductor material, creating a highly consistent conductor that forms the foundation of the Classic Legend MkII range.

The 680 Digital uses a dedicated coax construction developed around the specific requirements of digital signal transmission. Kapton and Teflon insulation provide a carefully controlled electrical environment around the conductors, helping maintain the integrity of the digital signal throughout the cable.

Siltech Resonance Damping adds mechanical control to the cable architecture. By addressing unwanted resonances within the construction, this technology complements the electrical design and contributes to the more advanced architecture of the 680 Series.

Signal protection is further enhanced through the combination of Special Wide-Range Shielding and Carbon-Infused Shielding. This multi-layer approach helps protect the digital signal path from unwanted electrical influence and distinguishes the 680 Digital from the lower models within the Classic Legend MkII range.
