Classic Legend MkII 680L Loudspeaker Cable

The Classic Legend MkII 680L Loudspeaker Cable takes Siltech’s proprietary G9 silver-gold conductor technology further with a more advanced architecture designed for the critical connection between power amplifier and loudspeaker.

At its core are two conductors made from Siltech’s pure silver-gold alloy G9. Siltech’s proprietary metallurgy combines silver with gold to address microscopic imperfections within the conductor material, helping create a highly consistent signal path while maintaining excellent conductivity.

The conductors are incorporated into Siltech Special Multicell construction and surrounded by a carefully selected combination of Kapton, PEEK and Teflon insulation. Together, these technologies create a controlled electrical environment around the conductors and support stable transmission of the musical signal.

The 680L also incorporates Siltech Resonance Damping. By controlling mechanical influences within the cable architecture, this technology complements the electrical design and provides an additional level of refinement compared with the lower models in the Classic Legend MkII range.

SPC shielding further protects the signal path from unwanted electrical influence. Conductor metallurgy, construction, insulation, damping and shielding therefore work together as a complete cable architecture designed to preserve the integrity of the signal travelling between amplifier and loudspeaker.

Positioned above the 380L, the Classic Legend MkII 680L represents a significant technological progression within the loudspeaker cable range. Its more advanced combination of insulation and resonance control builds upon the foundation of the lower Classic Legend MkII models.

Designed for high-performance loudspeaker systems, the 680L is engineered to preserve musical detail, dynamics, spatial information and tonal balance while allowing the connected components to perform with natural clarity and control.
