Classic Legend MkII 280i
The Classic Legend MkII 280i Interconnect brings Siltech’s proprietary G9 silver-gold conductor technology to the new entry level of the Classic Legend MkII range.
Its dedicated architecture uses two G9 silver-gold conductors in a twisted-pair construction, combined with Kapton and Teflon insulation and SPC shielding. Together, these technologies create a carefully controlled environment around the signal path, designed to preserve the integrity of the analogue signal between connected components.
Available with RCA or XLR connectors, the 280i offers an approachable first step into true Siltech silver-gold performance.

The Classic Legend MkII 280i Interconnect brings Siltech’s proprietary G9 silver-gold conductor technology to the new entry point of the Classic Legend MkII range. Introduced as the successor to the former Explorer position, the 280 Series makes Siltech’s signature silver-gold metallurgy available at a more approachable level.
At its core, the 280i uses two conductors made from Siltech’s pure silver-gold alloy G9. This proprietary metallurgy is an important part of Siltech’s engineering philosophy. By adding gold to silver, microscopic imperfections within the silver conductor are addressed, helping reduce distortion while maintaining excellent conductivity.
The conductors are arranged in a twisted-pair construction and combined with Kapton and Teflon insulation. This construction creates a carefully controlled electrical environment around the signal path.
SPC shielding provides additional protection from unwanted electrical influence. Together, conductor metallurgy, geometry, insulation and shielding form a complete cable architecture developed around one central principle: preserving the integrity of the musical signal.
As the entry model within this new generation, the 280i provides an approachable first step into Siltech G9 silver-gold cable technology.
