The Classic Legend MkII 380 Phono Cable brings Siltech’s proprietary G9 silver-gold conductor technology to the delicate connection between turntable and phono stage.

The Classic Legend MkII 380 Phono Cable is designed specifically for one of the most delicate signal paths in an audio system: the connection between a turntable and phono stage. The extremely low-level signal generated by a phono cartridge places particular demands on cable construction and signal protection.
At its core are two conductors made from Siltech’s proprietary pure silver-gold alloy G9. Siltech’s silver-gold technology combines silver with gold to address microscopic imperfections within the conductor material, forming the metallurgical foundation of the Classic Legend family.
The two G9 silver-gold cores use a dedicated twisted coax pair construction. This distinguishes the 380 Phono from the conventional analogue interconnect architecture and provides a construction specifically suited to the requirements of phono signal transmission.
Kapton, PEEK and Teflon are used within the insulation system, creating a carefully controlled electrical environment around the signal path.
Effective signal protection is especially important at phono level. SPC shielding surrounds the cable architecture to provide additional protection from unwanted electrical influence.
