Its dedicated single-core coax architecture uses a pure G9 silver-gold conductor combined with Kapton, PEEK and Teflon insulation and Siltech Resonance Damping. Special Wide-range Shielding and Carbon-Infused Shielding provide advanced protection around the signal path, while the 75 Ohm impedance is specifically designed for compatible digital audio connections.

At its core is a conductor made from Siltech’s pure silver-gold alloy G9. Siltech’s proprietary metallurgy combines silver with gold to address microscopic imperfections within the conductor material and forms the conductor foundation of the Classic Legend MkII family.
The 880D 75 Ohm uses a dedicated single-core coax construction. Its 75 Ohm characteristic impedance is specifically suited to compatible digital audio connections where maintaining the correct impedance throughout the signal path is essential.
