From October 16–18, Siltech joined the Australian high-end audio community at StereoNET Hi-Fi & AV Show 2026 in Melbourne, together with our Australian distribution partner Extrema AV Distribution.

Held at the Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park, the three-day event brought together audio manufacturers, industry professionals and music enthusiasts for a weekend dedicated to high-fidelity sound. For Siltech, the show provided an opportunity to present our cable technologies within a complete high-end audio system, introduce visitors to different levels of our portfolio and strengthen our connections with the Australian audio community.

Our participation was made particularly meaningful by the presence of Edwin Rynveld, Founder & CEO of Siltech, and Jean-Philippe Fontaine, VP Sales APAC, who joined the event to meet visitors, engage with industry partners and share the engineering philosophy behind our products.

Siltech cable engineering in a complete audio system

At the heart of our presentation was a carefully assembled high-end audio system featuring loudspeakers from Danish manufacturer Audiovector, supported by Siltech cabling.

The listening room offered visitors the opportunity to experience our cables in the context for which they are developed: a complete audio system where source components, amplification, loudspeakers and their connections must work together to preserve the musical signal.

Since our foundation in the Netherlands in 1983, Siltech has investigated how conductor metallurgy, cable geometry, insulation and shielding influence electrical behaviour and signal transmission. These areas of research continue to guide the development of our products, with the objective of minimising unwanted interference and preserving the information contained within a recording.

In Melbourne, the combination of Audiovector loudspeakers and Siltech cable technologies provided a practical setting in which visitors could experience this approach to high-end audio engineering.

Exploring Classic Legend MkII, Crown and Master Crown series

Alongside the listening system, visitors had the opportunity to explore a selection of products from three important Siltech cable families: the recently introduced Classic Legend MkII Series, the Crown Series and our flagship Master Crown Series.

The Classic Legend MkII Series represents the latest evolution of one of our established cable ranges. Building upon decades of experience with our proprietary silver-gold conductor technology, this new generation incorporates further developments in cable architecture, insulation and shielding, reflecting our continued focus on signal integrity and long-term performance.

Moving further through our portfolio, the Crown Series brings together advanced conductor technologies and carefully developed cable constructions. Its engineering reflects Siltech’s ongoing research into the electrical properties that influence audio signal transmission, with particular attention to transparency, resolution and the preservation of musical detail.

At the highest level, the Master Crown Series represents the culmination of our research into conductor materials and cable design. Developed around Siltech’s S10 monocrystal silver conductors and advanced insulation and shielding technologies, Master Crown embodies our approach to reference-level audio cable engineering.

Presenting these three ranges together allowed visitors to examine the different designs and technologies within our portfolio. The dedicated product presentation complemented the listening experience, offering a closer look at the materials, connectors and construction principles behind Siltech cables.

HMS Elektronik: Further expertise within Siltech Group

Our fellow Siltech Group brand HMS Elektronik was also represented in Melbourne, with a selection of its cable solutions on display.

HMS brings its own engineering perspective to high-end audio connectivity, with an emphasis on electrical performance, shielding and carefully controlled signal transmission. Its portfolio complements Siltech’s technologies while maintaining a distinct product philosophy.

The presence of both brands offered visitors an opportunity to discover different approaches to audio cable engineering within Siltech Group, while the listening demonstrations remained centred on the complete high-end audio experience.

Meeting the Australian audio community

Beyond the equipment and product presentations, an important part of StereoNET Hi-Fi & AV Show 2026 was the opportunity to connect directly with the people who share our interest in music and high-quality sound reproduction.

Edwin Rynveld, Founder & CEO of Siltech, and Jean-Philippe Fontaine, VP Sales APAC, were personally present throughout our participation in Melbourne. Their attendance provided an opportunity to meet Australian audio enthusiasts, customers and industry professionals, exchange experiences and discuss the philosophy and technologies behind Siltech’s ongoing developments.

For us, these conversations are an essential part of participating in international audio events. They create a direct connection between the research and engineering carried out in the Netherlands and the listeners who experience our products in their own systems.

The event also provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships within the Australian market, supported by the local knowledge and expertise of our distribution partner.

Building our presence in Australia with Extrema AV distribution

Our participation in Melbourne marked another step in our collaboration with Extrema AV Distribution, Siltech’s official distributor in Australia.

Based in Victoria, Extrema AV Distribution plays an important role in connecting Siltech with Australian dealers, customers and music enthusiasts. Through its understanding of the local audio market and its relationships within the industry, the company provides a dedicated point of contact for those interested in discovering our products.

Following the announcement of our Australian distribution partnership, StereoNET Hi-Fi & AV Show 2026 offered an opportunity to bring this collaboration directly to the audio community.

Working together in Melbourne allowed us to present Siltech’s technologies in a dedicated listening environment while continuing to develop our presence in Australia.

Thank you, Melbourne

After three days of music, listening experiences and conversations, we look back on StereoNET Hi-Fi & AV Show 2026 with appreciation for everyone who contributed to the event.

We would like to thank all the visitors who spent time exploring our products, listening to the audio system and sharing their experiences with us.

Our sincere thanks go to Extrema AV Distribution for representing Siltech in Australia and supporting our participation in the show. We also extend our appreciation to Audiovector, the participating partners and the StereoNET organisers for bringing together the Australian high-end audio community.

For Siltech, Melbourne was another opportunity to share the principles that have guided our work for more than four decades: precision engineering, continuous research and a commitment to preserving the musical experience.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Extrema AV Distribution and meeting more music lovers across Australia in the future.
