The Classic Legend MkII 280P Power Cable brings Siltech’s proprietary G9 silver-gold conductor technology to the new entry level of the Classic Legend MkII power cable range.
Its two-core architecture combines G9 silver-gold conductors in a twisted-pair construction with Kapton and Teflon insulation and SPC shielding. Together, these technologies create a carefully controlled cable architecture developed for high-performance audio power applications.
As the most approachable power cable within Classic Legend MkII, the 280P provides a direct entry into Siltech silver-gold power cable technology.

The Classic Legend MkII 280P Power Cable introduces Siltech’s proprietary G9 silver-gold conductor technology at the new entry point of the Classic Legend MkII power cable range. As part of the newly introduced 280 Series, it makes Siltech’s signature silver-gold metallurgy available at a more approachable level.
The 280 Series replaces the former Explorer position and represents an important technological step at the entry level of Siltech. Where Explorer used monocrystal copper conductors, Classic Legend MkII 280 introduces G9 silver-gold technology throughout the range.
At the heart of the 280P are two conductors made from Siltech’s pure silver-gold alloy G9. Siltech’s silver-gold technology combines silver with gold to address microscopic imperfections within the conductor material.
The two conductors are arranged in a twisted-pair construction and combined with Kapton and Teflon insulation, creating a carefully controlled electrical environment around the conductors.
SPC shielding provides additional protection from unwanted electrical influence. Together, the conductor metallurgy, twisted-pair geometry, insulation and shielding form the dedicated architecture of the 280P.
Designed for powering audio components, the Classic Legend MkII 280P provides an approachable first step into Siltech G9 silver-gold power cable technology and the wider engineering philosophy of Classic Legend MkII.
