The Classic Legend MkII 280L Loudspeaker Cable brings Siltech’s proprietary G9 silver-gold conductor technology to the new entry level of the Classic Legend MkII loudspeaker cable range.
Its two-core architecture combines G9 silver-gold conductors with Siltech Special Multicell construction, Siltech Resonance Damping and SPC shielding. Together, these technologies create a carefully controlled cable architecture for transferring the musical signal between amplifier and loudspeaker.
As the most approachable loudspeaker cable within Classic Legend MkII, the 280L provides a direct entry into true Siltech silver-gold performance.

The Classic Legend MkII 280L Loudspeaker Cable brings Siltech’s proprietary G9 silver-gold conductor technology to the connection between amplifier and loudspeaker. As part of the newly introduced 280 Series, it represents the new entry point into Classic Legend MkII loudspeaker cable performance.
The 280 Series replaces the former Explorer position and introduces Siltech’s signature silver-gold metallurgy at this level of the range. Where Explorer used monocrystal copper conductors, Classic Legend MkII 280 moves the starting point of Siltech into G9 silver-gold technology.
At the heart of the 280L are two conductors made from Siltech’s pure silver-gold alloy G9. Siltech’s silver-gold technology combines silver with gold to address microscopic imperfections within the conductor material, creating the metallurgical foundation of the Classic Legend family.
The conductors are incorporated into Siltech Special Multicell construction. Siltech Resonance Damping further contributes to the carefully controlled environment surrounding the conductors.
SPC shielding provides additional protection from unwanted electrical influence around the signal path. The complete architecture combines conductor metallurgy, construction, resonance control and shielding in a design dedicated to the connection between amplifier and loudspeaker.
