The Classic Legend MkII 880L Loudspeaker Cable represents the highest level of loudspeaker cabling within the Classic Legend MkII range, bringing together Siltech’s proprietary G9 silver-gold metallurgy and the advanced construction technologies specified for the upper level of the series.
At its core are two conductors made from Siltech’s pure silver-gold alloy G9. Siltech’s proprietary metallurgy combines silver with gold to address microscopic imperfections within the conductor material and forms the conductor foundation of the Classic Legend MkII family.
The two G9 silver-gold cores are incorporated into Siltech Special Multicell construction. This advanced cable geometry creates a carefully controlled environment around the conductors for the critical connection between power amplifier and loudspeaker.
PEEK and Teflon form part of the insulation architecture, while Siltech Resonance Damping provides additional mechanical control within the cable construction. Together, these technologies complement the electrical design and create the dedicated architecture of the 880L.
